The Music Icon Plays a Hell Version of Herself in Satirical Film First Look

The celebrated musician is getting ready for a major film onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.

In the film, she portrays what she calls as a hell version of herself.

It’s the realest depiction of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, the star commented.

She elaborated in an interview: This isn’t a concert film, but the idea originated from the demand to produce one.

A Glimpse into The Moment

The debut trailer, released on Thursday, mixes real clips from her live performances with fictionalized backstage scenes.

The film is overseen and co-authored by the director, who revealed that the narrative centers on a scenario where the singer took completely different paths throughout the marketing of her chart-topping release Brat.

A Hectic Movie Lineup

This project is a single one of numerous forthcoming screen roles for the musician, who has appeared in three cinematic festival entries this year.

Additionally appeared as herself in the Amazon series Overcompensating.

Upcoming Projects

The coming year will also feature the artist alongside Olivia Wilde in sensual story I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in creative industry mystery The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in horror remake Faces of Death.

She recently agreed to feature in the star’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

Soundtrack Involvement

The month of February will also bring the debut of the director’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will include original songs from the singer.

She is also set to provide music for the film Mother Mary, featuring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch soon.

The Moment will be released on the 30th of January.
